soooooo i was supposed to be in fire island for my first-ever-in-my-adult-life-1-week-vacay, but powers beyond my control prevented that and the 'rents graciously hosted me to prevent my head from popping off. i needed to get away, in the worst sort of way, and heading down-south was a perfect savior for my sanity.

i got to visit with alot of old-school peeps, and having hardly been home in a non-holiday context since roughly 2000 AD, it was awesome to come away with a less hectic take on visitation. the visit was long, languid, and lovely- i really need to go back more often.
